Corston Couture

Corston Couture was created from the founding designer, Coral Johnston's love of beautiful fabrics and interesting design.

The collections are always romantically eclectic, fashion forward, and often with a nod to a past era. She did however show an early passion for design and sewing, starting at the age of 5 under the watchful tutoring of her mother, a talented sewing teacher.
(this was not couture sewing of course!...more like pillow cases with holes cut for armholes.)

After High School, Coral went to University to do a Science degree, majoring in Psychology, and in her spare time, made extra money making clothes and doing alterations.

After 3 years of study, she realized she didn't want to be either a Scientist or Psychologist, and began the company, that is now Corston Couture.

Coral spent the first 25 years of business, perfecting and educating herself in the art of Couture, learning an enormous amount for the very talented and brilliant staff she has employed over the years.

Coral personally likes to get to know potential stockist, and very happy to answer any questions or inquiries you may have.

The Fabled Collection, is a unique and fashion forward collcetion of bridal dresses often displaying  strong nods to history, especially 17th century corsets, all reimagined in a modern and fresh way.
